Germany is advancing toward a fully digital and compliant invoicing ecosystem. Here are the key milestones to stay ahead of.

Mandatory B2B e-invoicing

April 2020

Mandatory B2G e-invoicing under the EU e-Invoicing Directive.

Phased B2B e-invoicing mandate.

Royal Decree published

All businesses must be able to receive electronic invoices.
