Mandatory B2B e-invoicing

April 2020

Electronic invoicing becomes mandatory for public procurement under the EU e-Invoicing Directive.

E-reporting rollout

January 2025

Mandatory B2G e-invoicing through the Latvian eAddress platform and Peppol infrastructure.

Royal Decree published

January 2026

Mandatory B2B e-invoicing for transactions with government entities and businesses.

E-reporting rollout

January 2028

Mandatory domestic B2B e-invoicing extended to all businesses.
