July 2017
Lithuania launches the E. Sąskaita platform for electronic invoicing in public procurement.
April 2020
Mandatory B2G e-invoicing implemented under the EU E-Invoicing Directive.
Future
No mandatory domestic B2B e-invoicing or Continuous Transaction Control (CTC) mandate has been announced. Lithuania is expected to align with future EU VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) requirements.
This mandate currently affects e-invoicing, not e-reporting.
