Mandatory B2B e-invoicing

November 2021

RO e-Factura launched for voluntary use and selected high-risk goods.

E-reporting rollout

July 2022

Mandatory e-invoicing introduced for B2G transactions and high fiscal risk products.

Royal Decree published

January 2024

Mandatory reporting of all domestic B2B invoices through RO e-Factura begins.

E-reporting rollout

July 2024

RO e-Factura becomes the mandatory legal channel for issuing all domestic B2B invoices.
