Singapore is advancing toward a fully digital and compliant invoicing ecosystem. Here are the key milestones to stay ahead of.
May 2018
Singapore becomes the first Peppol Authority outside Europe.
January 2019
InvoiceNow (Singapore's Peppol network) officially launches.
November 2025
Newly incorporated companies voluntarily registering for GST can begin submitting invoice data using InvoiceNow.
April 2026
Newly incorporated businesses registering for GST are required to transmit invoice data to IRAS through InvoiceNow.
April 2027
Existing businesses that voluntarily register for GST must also submit invoice data through InvoiceNow.
This mandate currently affects e-invoicing, not e-reporting.
