2018
The U.S. Business Payments Coalition publishes its Electronic Invoice Exchange Market Pilot report.
2022
The Digital Business Networks Alliance (DBNAlliance) is formed to accelerate interoperable e-invoicing in the United States.
2023
DBNAlliance launches pilot programs using the Peppol framework.
2025
Adoption continues to expand among ERP providers, AP/AR platforms, financial institutions, and software vendors.
This mandate currently affects e-invoicing, not e-reporting.
